Co-founder "Do one thing that scares you everyday" Moses has an athletic background in rugby and has been coaching CrossFit since 2011. He is largely passionate about helping others and believes that fitness should be accessible for everyone. He strives to continually develop coaching excellence as it is the gateway to building a safe and fun learning environment. He is also a motorcycle enthusiast. Vroom vroom.
"Set a goal so big you have to grow into the person who can achieve it. " One of the trainers here at Innervate, Nicholas started his fitness journey as a National Tchoukball athlete between 2010-2015. After being exposed to Crossfit while taking his Exercise and Movement Science Degree in Australia, it further developed his passion for fitness and wanting to coach and help others along in their fitness journey.
"Hard work beats talent, every time." - Kobe Bryant Joshua is a believer in the philosophy of effort, using physical effort to explore and change how our brains work and how we perceive ourselves. Hard work in the gym is mandatory, but the physical gains are often outweighed by the mental benefits earned. Ultimately his goal is to get people to be able to ask hard questions of themselves.
Co-founder "True Strength doesn't come from the body but rather from the Heart" Lionel started CrossFit way back in 2010 and he strongly believes in enjoying himself while doing anything and everything, especially fitness. If you've met him anywhere, you'd think that he swallowed a loudhailer and a dozen red bulls. But beyond that persona, he has an immense passion for grooming the next generation to become the best they can be.
"Progress over perfection" Sandra got started on CrossFit after being attracted to its holistic programming and the platform to focus on personal growth while being a part of a team. Today, her passion is fuelled by the open athlete community and team of well-versed coaches. Sandra truly believes in the fact that CrossFit is for everyone, and takes pride and joy in the problem-solving aspect of coaching. Get to know her enough and you might catch a glimpse of her humour.
"Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not who someone is today" Gerald the sport of fitness as it requires proficiency in multiple elements (gymnastics, long distance, middle distance, etc), and that means training with a different purpose and goal everyday. He believes that CrossFit is not only beneficial to improving one’s fitness, but can instil values such as hard work and commitment in an individual. A true sports-fanatic. Jack of all trades, master of none.
