CrossFit Kids and Teens is CrossFit designed for a unique population with specific developmental needs. By combining FUN and FITNESS, CrossFit Kids instills lifelong good habits which emphasize the importance of health and fitness from an early age.
WHAT IS CROSSFIT KIDS AND TEENS?
CrossFit Kids and Teens combines training elements that encourage bone density and vestibular system development, as well as athletic development. At CrossFit Kids and Teens, we will do the following
Develop their physical and cognitive abilities.
Using elements of CrossFit to keep kids and teens engaged, while teaching them proper movement mechanics and creating broad athletic foundation
To pair fitness, competition and fun to encourage a lifelong love of health and fitness
To develop self-confidence, discipline and social skills through interaction with peers in a conducive environment.
The CrossFit Kids and Teens programme is divided into 2 main groups:
Kids (ages 4 - 11)
Kids will be introduced to fitness through fun activities and games, which will develop the athlete within. These activities will involve functional movements. This programme will also focus on the character development of the child, ensuring that the right habits are being formed at this crucial stage of life.
Teens (ages 12-18)
For Teens, healthy competition is emphasized. Education on health, fitness, discipline and body mechanics will be reinforced in a holistic and interactive environment. The programme focuses on grooming Teens for future endeavours which await them past their youth.
We believe in the development of students not just physically but in a holistic manner. We organise various additional programs to assist, engage and enrich the students. From prep time (a dedicated time, post workout to do their homework, studies or mental activities in a supervised environment), held during the exam season, to doing social good by taking part in our fundraiser, Operation Broken Wing or welcoming and helping Youth at Risk integrate back into society in a positive environment. We want to groom our students to be all rounded athletes and scholars with good character
JOIN OUR KIDS AND TEENS PROGRAM
Registering for the CrossFit Kids or Teens programme is FUN! There are no requirements for kids or teens to undergo a fundamental class. Our emphasis is for your kids to get challenged, experience and have fun, as such, their FIRST sessions is a free trial so bring them down to try the class out! Prior to registering, please review the class age groups, timetables and prices.
Kids (Aged 4 - 10) : Weekdays at 4pm, Saturdays at 9:30am
Teens (Aged 11 - 18) : Weekdays at 5pm, Saturdays at 10:30am
Prices : $150 / Monthly OR $400 / Quarterly
